Paving Screwman (Screed Operator)

We are currently seeking an experienced Paving Screwman to join our growing asphalt paving crew. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Operate and control the screed on asphalt paving machines

· Set and maintain proper grade and slope for asphalt placement

· Work closely with the paving foreman and crew to ensure quality workmanship

· Adjust screed settings for proper thickness and smoothness

· Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

· Follow all job site safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

· Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paving screwman/screed operator

· Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes and equipment

· Ability to read grade stakes and work to specifications

· Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required)
